“Mum’s Little Friend”
I've gone a bit quirky making the wren pull on the teabag... I think mum would have enjoyed this painting. My late mother loved little blue wrens, and drinking tea. This is one of her teacups. Maybe this reminds you of someone?
It's hard not to love the little blue wrens who tap on my studio windows as they feed on the tiny insects caught up in my flyscreens. They are so tiny, yet such vibrant blue colours and flitting movements - it's no wonder we find them so fascinating...the beauty of Australian wildlife, and the simple joy of sharing our everyday spaces with these much-loved native birds.
This listing is for a high quality art Print, made from my original painting. All my paintings are first created in my sunroom/art studio where I get lots of natural light, a rural outlook and I can keep an eye on my chickens and sheep out the window at the same time.
