"NERO" -ABOUT THIS PAINTING -
Living on a property, I am fortunate to regularly see Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos just like Nero who is having a feed - when I hear their distinctive mournful cry I go outside to try and spot them high in the trees - they  continue to inspire my art as I paint in my studio. I enjoy giving some of the birds I paint their own names.
Through its calming colours and atmospheric light, this painting celebrates the beauty of Australian wildlife, and the simple joy of sharing our everyday spaces with these much-loved native birds.
This listing is for the original painting which has been painted by Jill Harris (me). All my paintings are created in my sunroom/art studio where I get lots of natural light, a rural outlook and I can keep an eye on my chickens and sheep out the window at the same time.

When caring for your canvas, dust can be gently removed with a dusting cloth. It is better NOT to use cleaning liquids on your original canvas painting.
