“Mum’s Little Friend”
My late mother loved little blue wrens, and drinking tea. This is one of her teacups. I've gone a bit quirky making the wren pull on the teabag... I think mum would have enjoyed this painting. Maybe this reminds you of someone?
It's hard not to love the little blue wrens who tap on my studio windows as they feed on the tiny insects caught up in my flyscreens. 
They are so tiny, yet such vibrant blue colours and flitting twitting movements - it's no wonder we find them so fascinating... 
This listing is for the original painting which has been painted by Jill Harris (me). All my paintings are created in my sunroom/art studio where I get lots of natural light, a rural outlook and I can keep an eye on my chickens and sheep out the window at the same time.
